Seals, save them? Yes, but not through a friggin E-mail.

Basically this post will comprise of 2 components.
My day and smacking down,
A certain spam mail I've been receiving lately,
Of which has irritated me,
Feel free to skip the second one,
It's kinda offensive and word-heavy,
So avoid if you must.

My day:
As usual, there is nothing really interesting about the forementioned.
I got told by Mr Suki to cut my hair.
Of which the longest strand at my fringe is 8cm,
While the longest strand at my burns is 6cm.
(Yes I measured)
So yeah, I guess I do need a haircut,
Will go down shortly to get it done.
Anyway, he kinda forced me and Alister into a conversation,
Which ended with some thinking question about women in a bar.
Go figure...  o_0

The papers were relatively easy to handle,
Despite this I have this feeling I'm gonna eat my words so,
Keeping my fingers crossed,
Same goes for the other papers.
The Log question killed me,
For Chem, i'm just unsure.

The stupid "Save the seals!"
E-mail I've been getting for like,
Since Sunday or something:
I believe the actual purpose of this mail was to serve as a chain letter,
Rather than to ensure the welfare of seals.
(and did you know seal whacking is subsidized in Canada?)
As so would many other people I believe.
However, if the author of the mail truly wanted to help,
And was not some random jerk,
I would still be posting this.
Reason would be,

Number one, sending around an E-mail and,
Asking people to comment on it wouldn't be enough to stop something like that.

Also, it's rather easy to compose a mail and fill in the comments yourself,
No digital signature or identification would be needed,
So this wouldn't be credible and I doubt anyone,
Would stop what they've been doing, for a E-mail whose source and author,
Comes from a civilian.

Number two, As it is, it's sent around social circles that interlap,
Thus allowing "the friend's friend of your friend's friend's cousin's dog" to know of it.
Even though you have a long list of comments, I now ask you,
How would it then get to someone with enough power to raise the issue?
The mail certainly does not say :
"Oh and pass this on to a random minister once it gets long and whiny"

Number three, If you really wanted to help, there are many animal rights activists,
And organisiations that you can join and support (like I do)
Which have already done much to reduce such cruelty,
Examples would be Greenpeace, Hsus (humane society of the united states),
WWF(Singapore) and the list goes on.
While personally, I prefer Greenpeace
(As you can tell from my "links" box, they have cool badges fyi)
My point is that there are many other,
More efficient and effective ways you could help the smaller beings on our Earth,
And even the Earth itself that do not include filling up my mailbox with images of carnage.

I hope that after reading this you will learn something from it,
And maybe you will do your part and,
NOT pass on that mail if you know what I'm talking about.
Anyway I'll include a list of Earth, Environment and Animal-friendly organisations
That I currently use and find to be less "Ma fan" in a further post when I have time.

Good luck for the final 3 papers.
Save the Earth! (or rather ourselves)

(I actually researched to write this post, man, the things I do for my readers)
