I have been like, super lazy these few weeks,
But, I finally dragged myself to post about last week,
I'm sorry it's late but at least I'm doing it,
Rather than heading off to play red alert 3
You see, my time last week was spent at a Band day-camp,
Or whatever it was called,
So by the time I came home, I simply bathed and then plopped down,
In front of my computer and went brain dead until I had to go sleep,
This went on for about, the whole set of weekdays.
I would elaborate but you'd probably be bored to death,
Because it'd be like "Band, Band, Random Occurrence, Band",
And you'd be all "*yawn* this guy leads a damm boring life lar!"
Which, though may be slightly true (serious understatement),
Is not the perception of me that I want you to have,
So I'll just go on just for a bit.
I played the drumset for the Handover Ceremony,
Which makes me happy, but I'm hating myself for screwing up,
And I also wished we could have done something more elaborate,
Either way, that's more or less fine for me,
Because I know that things will always look easier with the benefit of hindsight.
Another thing would be that my bass drum carrier is really problematic,
I keep trying to adjust it to hold the bass drum straight,
But it's always too high or low on one side,
Also it keeps moving out of place so,
When I'm moving it goes the other way and so on and so forth.
Okay, moving on to more important business,
Rather than my meager existence (note my sarcasm),
I'm currently trying organize a jam session for this Tuesday,
Been talking about it with Kevin for quite a while now but
We can't find enough people,
Yet I'm itching to get a note out as a band (and also, I'm just plain bored),
So if you're interested, send a yell my way (or Kevin's),
I'm hoping to have it at Anaki Records because of it's spaciousness,
(Website states the main studio can hold 10)
But we're open to discussion,
So yeah.....
Now for today
Today,
Woke up at about 10am,
Had my Chemistry tuition,
We went through Acids and Bases
But I wasn't really able to pay much attention,
However, I did learn that Ph values can be calculated using,
"-Log(Concentration of H- Ions)"
Surfed the internet for a while after that,
Subsequently went for my second Guitar class
Which lasted an hour and a half,
Got myself a Pure Valina Ice-Blended from coffee bean,
Asked for marshmallows which I didn't find till I finished the drink,
There were like, only 6 rather small ones in there...
Went to my grandma's for dinner after that.
End of story.
