It is no other than the long awaited Spring Carnival!
(note the double emphasis)
Got to school early to prepare for the performance later in the morning.
Anyway I did up my Band uniform and waited for the gloves to come,
While setting up my bass drum in the meanwhile.
Much... much later,
We were in the new indoor sports hall,
Doing round after round of our performance in our gallant attempt for perfection,
Oh and the break we got was really nice too.
When the actual thing came, we were all like 'BRING IT ON!!",
Too bad the party popper failed,
But that's what you get for 3 bucks worth.
After that I got my stuff and went over to my classes' "Bun Bonanza" booth
Where we didn't follow the shifts allocated to us,
Everyone helped out in a bit of everything.
The sales were like, horrible.
We had to keep increasing our discounts to try and clear our stock.
It was at first like, 1 dollar for 1 bun,
Followed by $1 for 2 buns,
Then $1 for 4 and $2 for 10,
Next, $2 for 20 buns,
$2 for 30 buns,
And for our final and desperate clearance price,
$2 for 40 buns.
See what I mean?
Even our efforts of making a combo deal with drinks from 3D's stall were fruitless.
Despite this shortcoming,
Today was still really enjoyable,
Especially when I had a shot at dunking Mr Suki (I messed it up though),
And 10 gos at archery plus one dead-center shot.
I wanted to visit the haunted house though,
But after queuing for an extremely long yet undisclosed amount of time,
I had to run down because of an attempt,
To try and do a last minute performance for the spring carnival.
But in the end it failed and there went my time spent queuing,
At least Kok Foo and his group (which I was supposed to be in) got to enjoy it, I guess...
T_T
Anyway, I went back to helping my class,
Only this time to help shift and keep stuff,
Later on when Kok Foo came out,
He messaged me to help him look for his bag at his classes' booth,
But when I got there, I realized it was gone,
And I tried to message and call him back but to no avail,
Then Jordon caught hold of me and got me to help him with the keeping of the tables and chairs.
So I helped out with the table and chairs while helping Kok Foo look for his bag.
Anyway, later on when me and Jordon decided we had enough of moving stuff,
We sat down nearby to the enterprise club.
And just then, Yu Fei was busy ordering 51 cans of drinks using the *ahem* tickets.
So I grabbed him and Yu Jie, we sat down and talked for a short while.
Also mentioned not being able to find KF and that he probably had already went home.
Then he said he wanted to deliver the drinks to the people from the youth changers thing,
So we went up with him and sat there to wait for them to finish their packing and or cleaning.
But soon enough we ourselves were sort of dragged in to help them too.
I helped with some trash-bag-holding and rubbish clearing.
After that I accompanied Ticko to the toliet (I have no Idea why though) and followed him down.
Found KF playing basket ball on the way to the Library,
Where the Youthchangers where having their meeting or something,
Followed Jordon to the B-Ball court.
Stayed on the sidelines while everyone else played.
Walked around for a bit and stumbled upon the ncc boys playing soccer.
When everyone was done with their stuff,
We all headed to Bukit Panjang Plaza,
But by different routes though.
Kian Wee, Darren, Jordon, Kok Foo, Hokiat and I took the Lrt while,
Yu Fei, Ju Jie, Ticko, Ivan, Nadd (who joined in later on)
And some other people whose names I forgot (I'm terribly sorry),
Walked to Bpp.
And so we met there,
Had our Dinner at Long John Silver.
We walked our separate ways, with Hokiat, Kok Foo, and I heading for the interchange,
The sky looked really beautiful at the time we were there, about 6pm++?
Anyway, I wanted to take a photo but.
Unfortunately, my phone's battery was dead.
On the way home (on the bus)
We talked for quite a bit,
Like what I missed out in the Haunted House,
Kiwi's attitude, and a whole bunch of stuff.
And I also saw for the first time, someone wearing the same,
Transformers Limited Edition t-shirt that I have,
But I guess it's to be expected,
The pieces were mostly sold out by the time I bought them
