Okay, my blog died for a while but now it's back from the grave.
Been wanting to update these few days,
But with all my business and procrastination,
My only free time to post was limited to the night,
By which I would be to sleepy to finish the post.
The result; a whole role of drafts in my "posting" tab.
As usual I don't really have much to say in the first place,
But because I didn't post for quite a while,
Those little bunches of "what I want to say" gives me a nice bundle for my post,
Or something, I'm just crapping around
Either way don't expect too much from this poster,
I'm just a guy trying to improve his wordsmanship.
Last Last Saturday - Z2H midway party, 18/7/09
Totally fun day for me as you would know if you were following me on twitter,
If you didn't know what the Z2H midway party is,
(which would most probably be the case)
There are only about two things you need to know.
- Z2H is a competition in which you form a band,
Playing an instrument of which you preferably have no knowledge of.
Participants will be trained to play their respective instruments to a common song shared by all bands,
As well as to play together.
At the end of the season,
Said participants will have to play two songs on the finals,
And will be graded by a panel of judges.
The winner of the season will be decided by two things,
The grade the judges gave them as well as their performance pre-finals.
- I was part of the committee (Z2H Alumni) that organized the midway party,
Of which was for the participant's enjoyment for this season.
My job on that day was to do registration,
Which basically meant sitting on a chair beside another admin,
In front of a table set up in the goods lift lobby for the floor,
Without air conditioning,
Taking the attendance of the attendees of the party.
But of course it wasn't as bad as it sounds.
That was only part of the day,
Plus they put a fan to fan the both of us,
Ashley and I.
Oh and Kevin also tagged along for that day,
He sat beside me playing random songs on his phone.
Following our jobs of registration,
Dinner ensured.
Dinner was in the form of Canadian 2 for 1 terriyaki chicken flavored pizza.
My first time trying it, at first glance it looked really weird,
But regardless, I still took a bite,
At which I discovered it tasted much better than it looks,
Paving the way for 2 more slices and a few sips of peach tea.
Have I mentioned I hate peach?
Was assigned to group 6 for the duration of the games,
We had lots of fun,
Especially with our emcees for the day, Bryan and Nicholas.
Oh and with "Emma" as a showgirl.

Last Friday - 24/7/09
I don't really remember anything from the day,
However I do remember going out,
With my cousins at night to the Ben & Jerry's at the night safari,
To celebrate Mabel's graduation.
Had quite a lot of fun there, eating ice-cream and looking at the souvenirs they were selling.
By the way, the food and drinks there are extremely overpriced.
Some things I spotted:
A plate of chicken rice selling at a "discounted" rate of $10.50, original price $17++
A plate of chicken chop, $11++
A bottle of coke, $4.
However the ice-creams at B&J's still sell for the same price as any other B&J's store in Singapore
Morale of the story,
Places of interest are expensive.
Wednesday - 29/7/09

Well, I misplaced something and I simply feel like telling the whole world about it.
Basically what happened was that,
Upon reaching home after Band,
I realized that my drumsticks were not in my bag,

Which meant that I probably left them in school.
Hopefully they're still in school,
And will still be there when I go for band tomorrow,

I have no idea why I'm doing this but it seems rather nice,
Or professional, or neat.
Will probably incorporate this in future posts.
Currently feeling VERY pissed,
Vista decided to shutdown itself, on it's own,
Without asking me while I was having piano lesson.
Lost everything after "last Friday".
I'm so dumbstruck as to what to write,
Used up all my inspiration or something.
And so I'm currently listening the "Carpal Tunnel of Love" to vent my anger,

Oh and I'm also looking around on forums for people who share the same situation with me.
At least this unhappy issue adds substance to the post.
Back to topic.
Today was the photoshoots for about all the Secondary 3 classes,
As if you didn't know that.
Anyway, crazy poses, good posture and height differences were the highlights for the day,
Made-up couples, weird actions and rowdy behavior were the supporting actors.
We had a bit of fun,
But I think everyone was more excited about getting to skip class rather than the photoshoot itself.
As the gap between the present and our impending exams closes in,
I sorta I'm still slacking away way too much,
Gonna have to push myself sometime soon if not I'll never get started with exam prep.
Speaking of exams, I'm kinda starting to like A-math more,
Hopefully it'll help with my preparation for CT2 in terms of attention span,
I get distracted easily you see.
On the other hand, I feel like going out with friends,
I guess it's cause June didn't satisfy my "fun with friends" quota.
Hoping someone will organize something soon,
So I can focus instead of dreaming of an outing.
