Yes, I didn't post about Tuesday,
That was more or less intentional,
Nothing much really happened but if you're interested,
We learnt that the Nafa tests would be held during PE lessons rather than after school,
I lost my PE pants somehow,
Which brings up this question,
Anyone brought home an extra pair on Tuesday?
I was told I won a yellow care bear with a rainbow cloud belly badge or something,
(On second thought, I think it was a Funshine bear, and yes, I actually looked it up)
I didn't take the care bear,
I waited for Kok Foo, who was having a Band meeting,
With Jordan, Darren and Ticko,
But in the end we went home without him anyway because it was taking too long.
And that's pretty much it,
See what I mean?
Now for what happened today.
I brought my bass to school as most of you know,
Spend the last night trying to stuff my jamming materials and my school books in.
And likewise, Kevin brought his guitar.
School was pretty much normal,
Haziq broke my Tagger Bag lock,
It wasn't that heavy duty after all I guess,
And we learnt, during Bio,
That the correct spelling for our heartbeat would be the following;
"Lub-Dub"
We tried to jam after school,
After Jordan, Kok Foo and the rest all left.
But unfortunately, we were denied a chance to use the dance studio,
And worse, we could only facilitate one guitar at a time in the classroom.
At least we had a bit of fun,
Only problem is that "bit" is like, infinitesimal,
I think we all felt like we wasted our time there.
However, to say that would not be completely true,
We did get to do a few rounds of "Hurricane Streets",
Played along to Kevin's mp3 through my speaker,
So it wasn't a complete waste in that sense,
Even if I didn't really improve and,
Kept mixing up the verse and the chorus bass parts.
Also did not go through "Grand Theft Autumn",
We only decided on it the day before so no one learnt their parts,
And after waking up this morning I started to have doubts about playing that song,
It may still sound weird after changing key so it might not have been a good choice,
It'll depend on how it goes.
Oh and I also finally had a look at Kevin's new Skullcandy headphones today,
Kinda happy that he's happy with it, especially since I told him to get a set,
If he wasn't happy then it would mean that my reccomendation was a crappy one,
Plus it was so expensive.
I'm considering getting a pair myself but maybe not the $70 version,
Because it doesn't come in my colors you see.
Anyway, about 3/4s through,
Kevin decided to jump about which resulted in his dropping of his guitar,
He opened up the back which is when we discovered that his guitar has tremolo arm capabilities,
(not "waa-waa" stick -_- )
And of a Floyd Rose locking system at that.
A few moments filled with technobabble later,
We decided that it was about time we went home,
Resulting in us packing up and left.
Zi Yu and Geraldine went home first while I followed Kevin to get his present,
And so, us two ended up like idiots at minitoons thinking of what to get,
We even called Fadil for help.
(But that was actually more of for fun)
In the end Kevin finally decided on something,
Me on the other hand decided to buy a pair of blue and black checkered shoelaces,
Why? I feel like cleaning up my pair of Nike Dunks and painting them or something,
Only this time I think I'd go with a darker color scheme,
To match with more clothes that are not blue, white nor black.
But now, come to think of it,
I'll just get a new pair of sneakers and put the laces in those.
After that the two of us went to Popular after that to get a couple of cards and paint markers,
This was followed by our parting and travel home.
