Yeah, In case you haven't noticed,
I didn't put up a post for Sunday.
Why? I spent all of my time on the post on the Spring Carnival,
By the time I was done, that only thing I could think of was sleeping.
And now that I'm down with that filler post,
(the post after this one, sorry, blogger doesn't support post-by-post archiving)
Here's my actual post.
Sunday.
Early morning I journeyed to Cck interchange,
Of which on the way I met Rian by coincidence,
And it turned out he was going to Changi too.
Anyway I went ahead of Rian, who had to wait for his friend,
And had my breakfast at Macdonald's.
Jordon came a while later and we took the long train ride to Tanah Merah.
When we got there we were like,
Confused on to where to find the shuttle bus that brings us to the Changi Exhibition Center,
So we called Mr Teo who asked us to take a cab which he would pay for,
That sounded really nice, but in the end,
We still managed to find the shuttle bus which saved Mr Teo a few dollars.
We got there, bought our tickets (no student price..),
Grabbed a couple of Formula Drift fans,
Walked around and then we met Rian,
And his friend who apparently had reached earlier than us.
Also, they carried the bad news that Mr Teo got a zero for the first qualifying round
Where you have to drift really nicely and avoid the cones in the track.
Sadly, he once again got a zero due to a minor accident resulting in a smashed bumper on his second round,
Which meant he did not make it into the top 16.
Other than watching the cars, there wasn't really much to do,
We got ourselves some food and drinks,
Walked around to the paddock to Mr Teo's pit,
But his car wasn't there cause he went to go and have it repaired.
And so the 4 of us sat by one side of the pit,
(it was more of a carpark actually)
In front of the trashed bumper,
Overhearing what everyone in front of us was saying.
Mr Teo really took quite a while to come back,
By then Rian and his friend left,
Me and Jordon didn't really talk to him.
We watched a few rounds of leading and chasing,
Before we had to leave, and we would have left earlier too,
If it hadn't been for the bad weather.
And because of the bad weather,
My going home was delayed and I couldn't visit my Grandma's.
Monday,
I dragged myself out of bed at about 8 am,
Left home after a while and then met up with Kok Foo and Ticko at segar Lrt station,
Walked to the basketball court, met up with Johnny and later Solomon.
Played basketball,
Went to eat at Fajar after that,
I bought a mcspicy but I couldn't stand it's spicyness,
Went home, had piano at about 7:45+,
Packed my bag and went to sleep.
